This is something special for those of us who love our food combined with a gentle pedal, as it justifies the many gourmet opportunities en route. Set in the 'Garden of England' where farm shops and orchards appear around many corners, the tour takes you to the coast with its famous Whitstable oysters and to the hop country at Faversham where you will find England's oldest brewery. Enjoy the Michelin starred inn The Sportsman - which was recently crowned the UK's Best Restaurant - several iconic tea rooms, a farmers market and a local cheesemaker. If you have any appetite left, fill your panniers with Mount Ephraim cherries, strawberries, plums, pears, apples and cobnuts. The cycling's not bad either!

1. Day one
Arrive Canterbury
Arrive in Canterbury and check into your hotel in the heart of the city. There's so much to explore in this astounding heritage city with its magnificent cathedral and wonderful farmers market and food hall.We will deliver your cycling equipment to your hotel and your host will meet you to run through your itinerary and to familiarize you with the route. We recommend an iconic tea room with 40 teas on offer and dinner at The Goods Shed with its locally sourced produce.

2. Day two
Canterbury to Faversham
This is a fascinating ride that sets out along the old Crab and Winkle railway line to Whitstable, built to transfer seafood from the coast to London. Enjoy the harbour there and lunch on the famous oysters before dipping into a craft shop or two. Then follow the old Saxon shore with its often remote atmosphere and rich maritime history, past the Michelin starred seaside inn where you should book your dinner. Your overnight stay is in the outstanding market town of Faversham with its barge lined creek and historic brewery. The town is elegantly Georgian with your inn for the night in one of the oldest streets.

3. Day three
Faversham to Canterbury
Head inland through pretty villages and valleys dotted with orchards and classic views. Take in the gardens and family run tea shop at Mount Ephraim and stock up on their orchard produce. Enjoy the cosy pubs before heading back to Canterbury. Perhaps there's just a little more to explore there - the luxurious 1930's inspired tea room? before you return your bikes to our base.
