Cycling holidays in Suffolk

For gentle cycling holidays, Suffolk is a very attractive landscape with relatively few hills, a network of old lanes and a friendly climate. We love the slower pace of life and the timber framed houses, the unspoilt village high streets where time has slipped past and the glorious coast, which can sometimes be desolate too, riddled with long estuaries dotted with yachts and old mills. The coast and rivers provide a superb backdrop for some very interesting pedalling and ferry hopping. This is an area of big skies that has long inspired artists with its canvas and we are sure you will be beguiled too. Farm shops abound selling from the acres of cropped fields and orchards whilst arts and crafts are much in evidence and perhaps have led to many quirky features. Discover Maggie Hambling’s sculpture on the beach and The House in the Clouds. Our accommodation choices are full of character too from luxury boutique hotels to ancient inns.

A Suffolk seaside jolly is a new tour for 2021, with magical gentle cycling alongside flexible options for walking, boating and additional pedalling. It offers a relaxed itinerary with 2 night stays in our favourite hotels and inns and plenty of time for you to mooch about in this laid back part of the world.
