Cycling holidays in Wales

A cycling holiday in Wales may not appear at first glance as a leisurely choice, but with the option of E bikes, this remarkable country is a breeze to explore. A mix of cycle paths and back roads and the area’s sparse population make for a peaceful often traffic-free ride. Hope across to to the island of Anglesey and make use of some short railway hops as well as a steam train ride up Snowdonia for an astonishing view from the top.

Stunning views are on offer every day for Wales has a jaw dropping raw beauty with a gorgeous coastline and beaches and soaring sheep clad valleys and hills. Much of it is wild yet it harbours fascinating ancient towns, hamlets with remarkable mines and many, many castles. Artists have been drawn to its remoteness and beauty but with cosy pubs and such welcoming people, you’ll feel embraced by the place. Beware their Celtic language may be tricky to comprehend!
